After deconstructing existing DVD covers for other Kids TV programmes that are aimed at our target audience and looking at the hierarchy and component placement within designs we have come to this Final Draft. We wanted to give the DVD a theme, as you can see this one is a 'Birthday' themed one, with each of the DVD's in the series to have a different theme we feel this would add to the collection value and uniqueness of the product. Also, due to the logistics of the product a DVD would have a lot of the text and information on the back of the case which gives us more space for design on the front. We will be showing this design to our target audience and focus groups to get feedback and make improvements.
