Magazine Cover Final Draft

This is our final pre-tweak version of our Product Magazine Cover.  Our main concern with this as it stands is the space in mid section which we feel is too empty and needs to be filled to complete the feel of the design. We decided that this space is best used to put our 'toy' that would be on the front cover of the magazine. The addition of toys, activities and crafts into children's magazines encourages a practical aspect and helps the child create things themselves, while also adding longevity, desirability and collect-ability to the product.

'Peppa Pig' is a brand that shares many aspects with our product including style and target audience. These are some existing 'Peppa Pig' magazine covers that we used to influence and inspire our design.

  1. would this be a real toy or an offer/feature or link - my concern would be that if it is a real toy there would be a disappointing amount of the magazine cover obscured especially one of the characters - the two you offer as comparisons have leaders/fluff in this are selling the 75th anniversary - perhaps there is a lesson there - how about a 'photo' of a collectible to be 'earned' by collecting tokens from the first three editions??? - just a thought
